My name is Nikki Blackketter. I am 25 years old and reside in Houston, Texas. 

I LOVE to lift weights, go to the beach, lay by the pool, read sci-fi novels, write, play video games, Christmas, Starbucks, make a mess in the kitchen experimenting, Lululemon clothes, practice yoga, practice handstands and being upside down, being silly with my friends, laughing, being competitive, and  motivating myself and others to be awesome and fit and healthy and happy!

My favorite color is probably red. Or maybe a deep blue. Which I always imagine in stones, like garnet and sapphire.

I have been officially infected with wanderlust and want to see as much of the world as possible in my lifetime. So far, I’ve traveled to Mexico (multiple times), England, Scotland, France, Japan, Australia, Germany, and Thailand. And my list grows every year. <3

I watch Arrow, Flash, Game of Thrones and maybe some Teen Wolf, but other than that the only TV I watch is HGTV and Law and Order SVU. Those tend to just be on in the background while I do house work or work on my computer. 

I am naturally brunette. Being blonde is high maintenance work, but I love it. Two of my sisters came out with blonde hair and blue eyes, lucky girls. I spend lots of money to be the same color. 

I love my friends, who work out and eat healthy just because they enjoy it. They do not compete, though I try to convince them to. :P I get so excited watching others compete and it’s such an accomplishment and something to work towards, I love doing it as well.

I listen to dubstep and some gangsta rap when I workout. But I never listen to either if I’m not physically lifting weights. My cardio playlist is completely different and consists of the most random things you could think of, from Panic at the Disco to Kanye West to Classical. I like to read while on the stairmaster.

My favorite food is probably breakfast. Anything: eggs, oats, bacon, waffles, hashbrowns, etc. I love it all! It’s always my favorite meal of the day.

When did you decide to become a Personal Trainer?

I never knew what I wanted to be, i used to work as the Marketing Manager for BMW and MINI but knew it wasn't my dream career, then I started making videos on YouTube and my subscribers made me realise just how much I loved fitness. I love receiving photos of my followers transformations and realised I just had to turn it into a career.


How long did it take you to get Abs?


I have always been into fitness but it wasn't until I understood the balance between Nutrition, Exercise, Stress and the correct exercises for my body that my Abs began to show. I believe anyone can get abs but there are several different types so always be realistic with what your body is capable of. 

How Can I Lose Weight?

There is no big secret to weight-loss - its a lifestyle change. Diets don't work because you change everything overnight and then crave and crave until you cave in. If you can't kill it or pick it - have less of it. Drink lots of water and aim to exercise at least 2 - 4 times a week with both cardio and weighted workouts.
